SavWareHA
is a suite of software routines and drivers that provide High Availability
for servers running SCO OpenServer 5, UnixWare 7 and OpenUNIX 8.
SavWareHA allows a secondary server to be a "hot standby"
mirror of the primary application server. SavWareHA uses the native
SCO drivers to provide and ensure hardware independence. Data is
mirrored over a dedicated IP network link or to a shared disk array.
The Standby server monitors the Primary server and takes control
of the serial and networked devices and designated applications
in the event of a failure.
